The Co-operation Agreement between Institute of the Flow Machines of the Polish Academy Of Sciences in Gdańsk and the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering (PAE) of the Warsaw University of Technology has been officially signed on the 4th of April 2017. The Institute of the Flow Machines was represented by Prof. Dr. Hab. Inż. Jan Kiciński, and PEA of the Warsaw University of Technology - by the Dean of the PAE, Dr. Hab. Inż. Janusz Frączek. The purpose of the Agreement is to enable PAE students to have laboratory classes with the use of the infrastructure of KEZO Center. The first classes for more than 60 students will take place already in May, and they will be devoted to the high-temperature heat pump and absorbing chilling aggregates.
After the Agreement has been signed in the Institute of Heat Engineering of the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology, there was a seminar "Presentation of the scientific and research potential of the Polish Academy of Sciences Research Center Energy Conversion and Renewable Sources and Polish Academy of Sciences Institute of the Flow Machines". During the seminar, Professor Jan Kiciński and Heads of the institutes that constitute the Institute of the Flow Machines: Dr. Marcin Lackowski, Dr. Hab. Inż. Dariusz Kardaś, and Dr. Inż. Grzegorz Żywica presented the research potential of the Center and Institute in Gdańsk. In the seminar participated mostly Deans and staff of the Warsaw University of Technology.
